1. The ISRO and CNES jointly developed the Satellite for ARGOS and ALTIKA (SARAL) carrying a radar altimeter to study sea surface altitude and a data collection platform for collecting data from ocean buoys and weather data centres (ARGOS).

इसरो एवं सी एन ई एस ने संयुक्त रूप से ए आर जी ओ एस और अल्टिका (सरल) के लिए उपग्रह का विकास किया जिस पर समुद्री सतह की तुंगता के अध्ययन के लिए एक रडार अल्टीमीटर लगा है तथा महासागर उछाल एवं मौसम डाटा केंद्र (ए आर जी ओ एस) से डाटा एकत्र करने के लिए डाटा संग्रहण प्लेटफार्म हैं।
